We decided to have our final and finished step of the analysis stages for our piece. We finalised all of the shots and edits possible and available to us. We discussed everything that we're going to use including sound effects. We think that the cuts between the killer and our main character will save time for us to combine even more and interesting footage as we are combining two scenes together through the means of editing. We used the establishing shot of the house to signify the house that our killer is going to be walking in. The nighttime is there to help create a slight tension as the night is generally scarier than the day time, also most successful horror movies set their main scenes during nighttime. We also made notes of our sound effects. We previously had already chosen to have footsteps but now decided to have a heartbeat when the screen is fading to black as he enters the house. We also decided to add a non-diegetic sound effect during the killer walking to make it interesting. The last thing we were going to do was the ring on our main character but we decided that a cross tattoo on his middle right finger is more intensifying.
